About Naka Gambia

Naka Gambia is a digital directory and services platform operated by Naka Gambia Company Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of The Republic of The Gambia, with its registered office at Bertil Harding Highway, Kotu, KMC, The Gambia.

The Platform connects businesses, service providers, and individuals across The Gambia, enabling discovery, communication, and transactions.

Eligibility

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years of age, or are using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian;
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
You are not prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law.

Use of the Platform

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent business listings or content;
Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm other users or businesses;
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems;
Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content from the Platform without our prior written consent;
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Platform;
Violate any applicable laws or regulations of The Republic of The Gambia.

Business Listings

Businesses and individuals may register listings on the Platform. By submitting a listing, you confirm that:

All information provided is accurate, current, and not misleading;
You have the right and authority to list the business or service;
The business or service complies with all applicable Gambian laws and regulations.

Naka Gambia reserves the right to remove, edit, or reject any listing that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inaccurate, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms.

Premium Listings and Payments

We offer premium listing packages and featured placements for businesses on the Platform. By purchasing a premium listing:

You agree to pay the applicable fees as stated at the time of purchase;
Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated;
Premium listings are subject to the duration specified at the time of purchase;
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time, with notice to existing subscribers.

Taxi and Transport Booking

The Platform provides a taxi and transport booking facility. By using this service:

You acknowledge that Naka Gambia acts as an intermediary between passengers and transport providers;
We do not employ drivers or own vehicles, and are not responsible for the conduct of transport providers;
All transport arrangements are made directly between you and the transport provider;
You agree to use the booking service in good faith and to honour confirmed bookings.

Online Shop

The Platform includes an online shop powered by WooCommerce. Purchases made through the shop are subject to separate purchase terms presented at checkout, including product descriptions, pricing, delivery, and returns information.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Naka Gambia Company Limited or its content providers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written permission.
