ASB is also known as the Arbeiter-Samariter Bund it offers free health services to the people of Serrekunda. They offer treatments for general diseases, ante natal care, baby deliveries, immunizations and operations.

ASB operates an outpatient unit and two 24/7 operational clinics which are adequately equipped baby delivery facilities with attendant midwife or their gynaecologist and a small patient’s ward.

Each year a plastic surgery team of specialist doctors visits The Gambia to perform operations on skin burns, keloids, tumours, cleft palates etc. at the clinic.
