About Peace Hub-The Gambia (PHTG)
Peace Hub The Gambia (PHTG) is a peacebuilding and social cohesion organization founded in May 2020 to create a conducive environment for young people in peace building, promote social cohesion, and reconciliation as well as strengthen the Gambia Transitional Justice (TJ) processes.
The pioneers are inspired by the transformative impact of the Peacebuilding Institute, a flagship program of Never Again Rwanda, PHTG aims to foster reconciliation and create a supportive environment for young people and others to actively engage in peacebuilding initiatives.
PHTG collaborates closely with government, development partners, and civil society organizations to empower youth, women, and persons with disabilities (PwDs). Through tailored peacebuilding programs and inter-generational dialogues, PHTG endeavors to strengthen community bonds, improve mutual respect, enhance social harmony, and consolidate peace across The Gambia.
